FAQs

What is Mead?
- Mead is simply alcohol fermented from honey. It can be made like a beer, a wine, a spirit, or something else. Most of our meads are in the “something else” category. Almost half way between wine and spirits our higher ABV meads are unique, very flavorful, and taste unlike anything else!

Do you make your own Mead?
- We do! We make all of our mead at our Gillette, Wyoming production facility. All mead is made here and then shipped throughout the United States and SE Asia.
-
Do you make your own Beer?
- We do! We make our beer both at our Gillette, Wyoming brewery and at our Sioux Falls, South Dakota brewery. Some of the beers are the same, some of the beers are different- but they’re all made by us in house.
-
Where do you get your honey from?
- Our honey mostly all comes from with three hours of Gillette, Wyoming. We primarily use clover honey in most of our meads. Sometimes we use other specialty honey varietals or appellations for smaller batch products. This honey can come from about anywhere.
-
Are dogs allowed?
- Dogs are most definitely allowed in both Gillette, Wyoming and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Especially in the summer, there’s lots of outdoor space for the dogs and we even have water bowls and treats if you need them!
-
Do you have food?
- Our food comes from Ranch and Roost at our taprooms. They have incredible food utilizing All American Beef, never frozen, ground in house, fresh potatoes, never frozen chicken, and overall great stuff. Their menu is smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, chicken tenders, and if you in Sioux Falls they even have steak and chicken tacos!

If I buy mead, how long do my bottles last?
- Unopened, most of our meads will last about 6 years. Once you open them, you have about six months until they start to change. But overall, the shelf-life is very stable.

Where are you located?
- Our taprooms are in downtown Gillette, WY for the main facility and we have another taproom and brewery on Lake Lorraine in Sioux Falls, SD.
